Last week, I presented a working paper titled “Where my girls at?”: A textual analysis of #FineWomenThatGame at the 2018 Screentime Conference held at Boston University. The conference is planned and hosted by graduate students in a seminar at BU, and they did a terrific job!
The event was a great synthesis of work across various methodologies and topics related to digital media and society, including surveillance technology, mediated persuasion, and representation, among others. I look forward to attending this conference in the future!
