We’re just over one week out from the 2018 National Communication Association Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah!
I’ll be presenting my paper “games are just who game:” Female players and identity in digital games culture” during the session titled Gender, Identification, and Game Studies: Issues of Play and Persona.
I’ll also be serving as a wandering scholar – giving feedback – on poster presentations in the Scholarship and Media Technology session.
And of course…. there’s our 2018 Game Studies Division Preconference, which I have co-organized with the nationally-acclaimed Entertainment Arts & Engineering Program at the University of Utah! We’ll have traditional paper presentations as well as a digital and tabletop game-jam!
